I’m currently interested in sociocracy because I think it has the potential to unlock cooperative opportunities for society. I came to sociocracy through my interest in free and open source software. It weaves together with several of my other interests: non-violent communication, permaculture, unschooling and agile software development. My training is in physics and I currently work in an early stage scientific instrument company. I do a variety of roles including management, programming, optics, and data analysis. At home, I’m married and have two boys (3 and 6 y/o in 2024). I love being a dad.
