I have a M.Sc in Agronomy in Helsinki University and have been active in the organic food sector my whole career. I got interested in Permaculture in 2014 and did my PDC in France that year. The same year we bought a property in Karjalohja (small place 90 km west from Helsinki) that we call Iso-orvokkiniitty, which we have designed and built according to permaculture principles. In 2022 I was a board member of the Finnish Permaculture Association and was chosen as chairman of the association for 2023. The association has tried to implement sociocracy for several years. I took the ”Sociokrati och självorganiserat samarbete” online course at Holma Folkhögskola in 2022 and started in SoFA Academy in 2023.
