Born 1950, grew up in isolated rural community in Western Australia. Educated by Irish Catholic nuns, for which I remain grateful. Double major at University; History and Japanese Studies. Studied on scholarship in Japan for one year. Two children, three grandchildren. Twice married. Worked in remote Indigenous Community schools, Steiner school and Islamic School
