I work in a small organization, and we’re thinking of implementing sociocracy to enhance our governance and decision-making. I’ve learned something about sociocracy’s principles, but I’d like to know how to implement it best in a small team. We have limited resources, so I’d appreciate hearing from those who have been able to introduce sociocracy in small organizations or communities.
What are the initial steps we need to take? Are there any pitfalls to avoid? I’m interested specifically in how we can implement consent-based decision-making and circles successfully in a manner that is organic and inclusive for everyone without overloading anyone.
Moreover, I’d like to know any resources or tools that would assist us in getting started and facilitating a smoother transition.
