Feedback about what financial and budgeting education SoFAN members want

SoFAN has a budget process and lots of financial information available to members, but that does not always translate to understanding finances and budgeting. What would be useful to you? What do you want to better understand? What could the WellBeing Circle do to improve member financial education? - Jerry

I wrote about some of what I’m wanting in this space over at Delegating power around our budget (in the Staff Members Hall, where it is a bit more private). I highlighted my key questions:

What is the basis for an objection under [our current] system? How can circles know if their budget fits well within the overall financial situation of the organization?

Maybe this is too simple, but I think: The budget is an expression of the strategy. So, questions: How well is your circle strategy advancing the aim of the organization? Can we afford to follow through on this budget? Can we afford not to?
The budget is generated bottom up from the sensing of the parts, then revised and approved top-down from the sensing of the whole.
