Hey folks — I want to invite everyone to the in-person training I’m hosting in Chicago on April 18 | 10am–4pm.
Governance for Liberation: Between Solidarity & Sociocracy
This workshop is for people working in co-ops, collectives, mutual aid, nonprofits, and movement organizations who want stronger tools for democratic decision-making and shared leadership.
We’ll be working with practices drawn from sociocracy / dynamic governance, but the focus is on real questions like:
- How do we make decisions without burning out?
- How do we share power without chaos?
- How do we keep structure from becoming hierarchy?
- How do we build organizations that actually reflect our values?
This will be an in-person, highly participatory training with folks from across the Chicago solidarity economy ecosystem.
