Three factors seem to make a difference: (1) having a team (that means more than one person!) lead the implementation process, i.e. an implementation circle. (2) Training everyone enough to make an informed decision and to reduce fear. (3) Taking objections seriously and addressing and integrating objections to changing the governance system. That means, find a team, educate yourselves and spread information and listen well and with an open heart.
