In Sociocracy, what are dimensions or considerations in picture forming?

Dimensions are like a checklist that the circle writes before they even gather opinions. Overall, the intent is to come up with a proposal that covers all of the dimensions.

The dimensions are created in the picture forming process. Dimensions are always in the form of a phrase or a question. Each member may explain a bit about the background of the dimension they are offering. If there is confusion about what a dimension means, the facilitator or the member may need to rephrase or ask the question differently so it can be easily understood and eliminate the need for clarifying questions. Opinions on the dimensions happen in the next step of proposal shaping.
