This is a judgment call. Sometimes we have to pause in the middle of a process and look at what is really going on. Sometimes it’s best to complete the current step and then reflect. Most certainly, any reflection of that kind should come up in the meeting evaluation. If there is a need for more exploration or reflection on an unhealthy pattern in the group, put it on the circle’s backlog and discuss outside of the moment. That way, the discussion does not get disregarded but it also doesn’t hijack the meeting.
