Duties and Responsibilities:
● Co-facilitates hiring process for all new team members including job post coordination, resume review, and reference/background checks by handling questions, interpreting and administering new hire paperwork, onboarding training and helping resolve work-related problems.
● Administers payroll processing, compensation, benefits and applicable work safety programs.
● Analyzes and modifies compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensures compliance with legal requirements.
● Advises team members on organizational policy matters and makes recommendations as needed related to applicable laws.
● Assists with identifying team member vacancies and recruitment through interviews and applicant selection process.
● Co-plans and facilitates new team member orientations to foster a positive culture and attitude toward organizational goals, values and structure.
● Co-plans and facilitates restorative justice and team wellness training(s) and discussion(s).
● Assists with the implementation of reflective evaluation practice (performance evaluation) and team wellness programs.
● Provides current and prospective team members with information about policies, roles and responsibilities, working conditions, wages, and other work-related information.
● Addresses any employment relations issues, such as work complaints, grievances and harassment allegations.
● Maintains records and compiles statistical reports concerning personnel-related data including paid time off, holiday pay and sick leave.
● Conducts audits of HR programs and recommends corrective action by analyzing statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization’s personnel policies and practices.
● Participating as a member of the Culture domain circle and the Actualization and Elevation domain circle as it relates to BECOME’s Collective Leadership model
● Contributes to creating a positive, cohesive, and affirming organizational culture.
● Collaborates on work and assignments with other team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
● Maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and best practices.
