It’s not easy for me to get onto this forum for some reason. I usually have trouble logging in.
Anyway, I’m concerned about the world’s political situation, with the ruling class hoarding more and more wealth and trying to keep the common people from sharing the world’s resources for survival, let alone prosperity.
It’s hard to get sociocracy into governments, because the ruling class finds it pretty easy to manipulate voters however they want by using majority rule, since it only takes persuading a small minority to change votes to get what the ruling class wants.
My idea is for sociocratic core groups to campaign together demonstrating how sociocracy can make it easy to end corruption and make decisions that benefit everyone, instead of just the wealth hoarders.
The core groups should be of diverse political backgrounds and they should speak together to audiences in the campaign, taking turns. And they could demonstrate sociocratic decision making. They could start touring and speaking even before one of them is chosen among themselves to file for candidacy.
The office of Governor would likely have the most immediate impact, I think, but some teams may prefer to run for mayor or county board etc. All of that should be good IMO.
