Using email or collaboration in documents

Our fledgling organization has so much business at hand, that we try to use email for updates and collaborative work. This doesn’t seem to be spoken of much in sociocracy. At what point might it be inappropriate? or totally valid?

Well, the relevant question for me is, did it wok for you?

Some of our members and representatives are feeling overwhelmed with emails. We use Open Office and Google Docs or Sheets to create and collaborate on projects. Creating a circle agenda in Docs allows us to make live, collaborative changes before and during the meeting.
